July 22, 2016
Bi520 green interference bandpass filters from Midwest Optical Systems (MidOpt) are typically used in applications employing 520nm green laser diodes, which are commonly used in bioanalytical applications, as well as green 520nm/525nm LED light sources, which can be deployed in machine vision inspection applications.

The bandpass filters feature a useful range of 515-525 nm, a FWHM of 20 n m, a tolerance of +/- 5 nm, peak transmission of ≥88%, and a surface quality of 40/20. Additionally, the filters—which are available in various mounts and sizes—can be used to block excitation sources and interfering longer and shorter wavelength light while letting this light pass through to the camera’s sensor.
