Manta G-319 and Manta G-507 GigE Vision cameras from Allied Vision featured two of Sony’s latest Pregius global shutter CMOS image sensors, the Sony IMX265 and IMX264. The IMX265 sensor is a 3.1 MPixel CMOS sensor that can achieve frame rates of 37.6 fps, while the IMX264 sensor is a 5 MPixel CMOS sensor that can reach speeds of 23.7 fps. Both sensors feature 12-bit ADC, 128 Mbyte image buffer, and have a 3.45 µm pixel size. The GigE Vision cameras—which are available in color and monochrome—also have board image processing features such as look-up tables and color correction capabilities. Additionally, the cameras are the first Allied vision camera models to offer the Trigger over Ethernet (ToE) action commands feature, which enables users to externally trigger GigE cameras a network through the Ethernet cable.
