Aug. 2, 2016
On display at the Basler booth at the Taipei International Industrial Automation Exhibition from August 31 to September 3 will be the company’s Time of Flight (ToF) camera, its new PGI in-camera optimization technology, as well as its newly-launched line of lenses.

On display at the Jidien (A distributor for Basler) booth at the Taipei International Industrial Automation Exhibition from August 31 to September 3 will be Basler's Time of Flight (ToF) camera, its new PGI in-camera optimization technology, as well as its newly-launched line of lenses. The ToF camera is a 3D Time of Flight camera that comes fully calibrated with integrated optics and a GigE interface, and captures the spatial dimensions of scenes and objects without moving components.

Basler will also showcase its new PGI feature set–a silver-level honoree in the 2016 Innovators awards—which is an in-camera image optimization for color cameras based on a combination of 5 x 5 de-Bayering, color anti-aliasing and de-noising. PGI operates in the camera and is designed to obtain the best possible image quality without loss of speed or increase of processor load.

Lastly, the company will showcase its lenses, which are designed in cooperation with Fujinon and are engineered for sensors smaller than 1/2” and optimized for use with Basler ace, dart, and pulse industrial cameras.
