Sept. 22, 2016
New to the Matrox Imaging line of Radient eV-Series of frame grabbers is the Radient eV-CXP CoaXPress frame grabber, which is the first in the series to feature on-board 3D profiling using patented Matrox technology.

New to theMatrox Imaging line of Radient eV-Series of frame grabbers is the Radient eV-CXP CoaXPress frame grabber, which is the first in the series to feature on-board 3D profiling using patented Matrox technology. The PCI Express frame grabber can acquire from multiple independent cameras at once by way of two (Dual) or four (Quad) CXP connections, each supporting up to 6.25 Gbps of input bandwidth. The frame grabber performs the laser line extraction needed for 3D profiling on the card itself, reducing system demand and freeing resources to be used toward inspection tasks. Capable of extracting 9,000 profiles per second with no host CPU usage, the Radient eV-CXP for 3D profiling is suitable for use in inspection tasks, including PCB production, road and rail maintenance, and food analysis.
