High-speed camera company iX Cameras named a finalist for British Business Awards

iX Cameras, the high-speed camera company that was formerly a division of Olympus, has been named a finalist for the British Business Awards in the "New Business Award" category. 

iX Cameras, the high-speedcamera company that was formerly a division of Olympus, has been named a finalist for the British Business Awards in the "New Business Award" category.

Based in Rochford, Essex, UK, iX Cameras develops a number ofhigh-speed cameras, including the i-SPEED 2 Series, which are available in four models: 210, 211, 220, and 221. Both the 210 and 211 cameras feature a 1280 x 1024 global electronic shutter CMOS image sensor with a 14 µm pixel size and 10-bit depth that can achieve frame rates up to 79,500 fps. The 220 and 221 models feature a 1600 x 1600 global electronic shutter CMOS image sensor with an 8 µm pixel size and 8-bit depth that can achieve frame rates up to 204,100 fps.

Organized by the British Chamber of Commerce Shanghai, theBritish Business Awards recognize and promote excellence in innovation, enterprise, and endeavor in the British and Chinese business communities. The biennial awards feature eight categories and showcase a number of organizations and individuals who have demonstrated commitment to trade and investment in China and will be presented at a Gala Dinner on November 10, 2016.
