At VISION 2016 in Stuttgart, BitFlow will showcase its new I/O box called the BitBox, which features 36 inputs and 36 outputs in a compact, DIN-rail mounted form factor that supports TTL, LVDS, open collector, opto-isolated and 24V signaling. The BitBox—which is controlled by a single BitFlow frame grabber—contains 12-pin connector blocks that can be added or removed with ease, but can lock into place for factory floor reliability. All transmitters and receivers are situated right in the BitBox. Additionally, input level can be read by software and inputs can be routed to the acquisition engine, timing sequencer trigger, cameras, and outputs. A small, high-speed 15-wire cable runs between the BitBox and the frame grabber, and the maximum length cable is 10 meters.
