Latest machine vision lenses from Edmund Optics to be presented at VISION 2016

Oct. 13, 2016
Fixed focal length and telecentric machine vision lenses will be showcased by Edmund Optics at VISION 2016 in Stuttgart.

In addition to product demonstrations showing how Edmund Optics products can be deployed in various imaging applications, the company will present three new product series: UC Series of fixed focal length lenses, TitanTL Series of telecentric lenses, and the Cx Series of fixed focal length lenses with an adjustable mid-section.

TECHSPEC UC Series lenses are available in six focal lengths and are designed for pixels that are ≤2.2 μm, provide high levels of resolution (>200 lp/mm), and are optimzed for 1/2.5" sensors, but many focal lengths will work on sensors up to 1/1.8". TitanTL lenses are available in 16 different models with large field of view options up to 242 mm, while the Cx Series are available in four different focal length models with a user-adjustable mid-section allowing a maximum degree of flexibility working with filters, custom apertures or liquid lenses.
