JAI presents latest industrial cameras live at VISION 2016

The first two cameras highlighted by Dickerson were the Sweep Series 4K and 8K high-speed monochrome cameras, which he notes are among the fastest in the industry. These cameras—which feature custom CMOS image sensors—were part of a live, high-speed web inspection application that JAI had going at the show.

Next, Dickerson provided some information on a demonstration involving the company’s Go series of area scan cameras. In this demo, multiple new Go series cameras featuring some of the latest CMOS sensors from Sony were shown capturing live footage of the attendees as they passed by the booth. Dickerson also discussed the company’s IngGaAs prism-based line scan camera in the company’s Wave series that features two InGaAs imagers.
