Lighting and lens control solutions from Gardasoft showcased live at VISION 2016

At VISION 2016, John Merva, Vice President, Gardasoft, talked about his company’s LED lighting and lens control products. Among the products shown at the booth was the new liquid lens controller, which drives an Optotune liquid lens. In the demonstration, a number of packages at different heights were shown rotating on a high-speed turntable. A laser distance sensor was used to measure the height of each package, which feeds an analog voltage to the lens controller, which automatically adjusts the lens to focus for the different heights of the packages.

Merva also described the company’s capability to guarantee consistent illumination over time via constant current LED controllers. Additionally, he highlighted the company’s new HD controller, which was announced at the show.
