New industrial lenses introduced by ZEISS

Nov. 2, 2016
Industrial and compact Interlock lenses in multiple focal lengths have been introduced by Zeiss.

ZEISS has added three new focal lengths to its Interlock family of industrial lenses, as well as four new fixed focal length lenses to its Interlock compact series. The new lightweight ZEISS Interlock Compact models with short M42x1 mount are available in 2.8/21, 2/35, 2/50, and 2.4/85 and feature screws that allow exact locking of the aperture and focus. The aperture can be set using the de-click mechanism, allowing precise exposure setting. The large image circle permits the lenses to be used on area scan cameras with full frame sensors and on line scan cameras with a sensor size of up to 43 mm.

The new Interlock industrial lenses are available in 2.8/15, 2.8/18, and 2/135 focal lengths, and are optionally available with F, EF, or M42x1 mounts. The aperture can be set in the F Mount version, and metal housing on the lenses enables them to be deployed into numerous applications.
