New to the family of Serval cameras is the Serval-640-GigE Thermography infrared camera, which features an IP67 housing and is designed for thermography and infrared imaging in harsh industrial environments. The LWIR camera features a 640 x 480 uncooled microbolometer (a-Si) detector with a pixel pitch of 17 µm and a thermal sensitivity (NETD) of 55 mK. The camera is sensitive in the 8 – 14 µm spectral range and differentiates itself from the Serval-640-GigE Imaging with its radiometric calibrations that allow the user to measure temperatures. Xenics offers four standard temperature ranges: -20°C to 120°C, 50°C to 400°C, 300°C to 1200°C, and 1000°C to 2000°C. Additionally, the camera is GigE Vision compliant and can reach a frame rate of 50 fps in full resolution.
