USB3 camera from Imperx features 25 MPixel CMOS image sensor

New to the Cheetah family of CMOS cameras from Imperx is the USB3 version of the Cheetah C5180M, which was introduced at VISION 2016 and targets such applications as machine vision, surveillance, aerial imaging, and intelligent traffic systems. 

New to the Cheetah family of CMOS cameras from Imperx is the USB3 version of the Cheetah C5180M, which was introduced at VISION 2016 and targets such applications as machine vision, surveillance, aerial imaging, and intelligent traffic systems. The USB3 camera features the PYTHON 25K CMOS image sensor from ON Semiconductor, which is a 25 MPixel CMOS image sensor that has a 4.5 µm pixel size and can reach frame rates of 26 fps in 10-bit and 32 fps in 8-bit. Additionally, the camera features a dynamic range of >59 dB and a proprietary image processing algorithm that suppresses fixed pattern noise while retaining dynamic range.
