At the Edmund Optics booth at SPIE Photonics West 2017, Edmund Optics will provide a demonstration on how the company’s telecentric lenses eliminate parallax and how telecentric lenses with a large field of view have large depths of field. Specifically, Edmund Optics will showcase the new 0.045X, 2/3" TitanTL Telecentric lens. TitanTL lenses are designed for machine vision systems and metrology applications and contain shims that provide adjustment for variation in camera sensor location, and adjustable iris and a three-set screw lens mount for rotational alignment to the camera. Typical applications, suggests Edmund Optics, include automotive and electronic inspection, measurement, and gauging.
