3D machine vision lasers from Laser Components to be shown at Automate 2017

FLEXPOINT MVstereo lasers from Laser Components, which project a randomly-ordered point cloud of 33,000 individual dots for 3D measurement, will be showcased at Automate 2017.

FLEXPOINT MVstereo lasers from Laser Components, which project a randomly-ordered point cloud of 33,000 individual dots for 3D measurement, will be showcased at Automate 2017. The lasers are designed for 3D stereo machine vision, a technique which calculates the volume of an object based on the position of dots that are simultaneously captured by two cameras from different angles. Initially available in visible red (660 nm) and infrared (830 nm), the lasers meet laser class 1 or 1M requirements and feature microprocessor-controlled electronics to program the laser or retrieve data.
