Jobs in the automation age forum to kick off Automate 2017

A new white paper from the Association for Advancing Automation (A3), titled, "Work in the Automation Age: Sustainable Careers Today and Into the Future," will be the focus of a “forum that will kick off Automate 2017 on April 3 at 10:30 AM.

A new white paper from the Association for Advancing Automation (A3), titled, "Work in the Automation Age: Sustainable Careers Today and Into the Future," will be the focus of a “forum that will kick off Automate 2017 on April 3 at 10:30 AM.

"Working in the Automation Age" will feature a number of industry speakers: Jeff Burnstein, President, A3; Juan Garcia, Global Leader, Amazon Career Development; Rebecca Hartley, Chief Workforce Development Officer, Advanced Robotics for Manufacturing (ARM) Institute; Ritch Ramey, Coordinator, RAMTEC Ohio; and Paul Aiello, Director of CERT Sales and Operations, FANUC America. During the forum, which takes place in the “Future of Automation” theater on the show floor, the speakers will discuss numerous topic related to the impact of automation and robotics on the workforce.

Topics will include the skills gap and its impact, evolution in job titles, robots and job creation, and innovative training.
