At Automate 2017, Princeton Infrared Technologies—a 2016 Innovators Award winner—will showcase its LineCAM12 line scan infrared camera. The LineCAM12 features a 1024 x 1 InGaAs line scan detector and is available in two models: 250 µm tall pixels for spectroscopy, and 12.5 µm square pixels for machine vision applications. The InGaAs array is backside illuminated and has >75% quantum efficiency from 1.1 to 1.6 µm. The camera also operates in the shortwave infrared (SWIR) and visible spectrum from 0.4 – 1.7 µm and acquires 14-bit digital data at 37k lines/s on USB3 or Camera Link interfaces. Additionally, the camera can be used with C- and F-mount lenses, as well as custom lenses with an M42 mount.
