Machine vision camera with 71 MPixel CMOS sensor to be on display at Automate 2017

At Automate 2017, The Crowley Company will showcase its MACHCAM 71 (C/M) machine vision camera, which is available in color and monochrome.

At Automate 2017, The Crowley Company will showcase its MACHCAM 71 (C/M) machine vision camera, which is available in color and monochrome. The sensor used in the camera is the CHR70M from CMOSIS, which is a 71 MPixel CMOS sensor with a 3.1 µm pixel size that can capture images at 3 fps. Additionally, the camera features a USB3 interface and a dynamic range of 63 dB. The MACHCHAM 71 targets a variety of applications, including automated inspection, aerial imaging, scientific and medical imaging, and law enforcement. Additionally, the company noted that the Camera Link interface and integration with Cognex Connect is expected in the near future, and that improvements are being continuously made for noise reduction and real-time pixel correction.
