At the Opto Engineering booth at Automate 2017, a wide range of optical imaging technologies will on display, including the company’s Vision System Designer software and CORE series of ultra compact telecentric lenses and illuminators.

Vision System Designer software is a virtual imaging laboratory for modeling machine vision applications in a 3D framework. With it, users can select imaging components from a catalog or model sensors, lenses, and lights. The software can simulate sensor images and is designed for project planning, evaluation, optimization, verification, and for documenting and presenting imaging applications.

CORE series telecentric are up to 70% smaller than other solutions on the market due to their unique space-saving design, which is patent pending internationally. The lenses are designed for sensors up to 2/3” and can be mounted using any of the four sides even without clamps. Also on display will be the company’s MZMT12X 12X continuous macro zoom lens series, LTLNC continuous LED line lights series, and the company’s optical filters.
