On display at Automate 2017 will be the C5180M Cheetah USB3 camera from Imperx, which targets such applications as machine vision, surveillance, aerial imaging, and intelligent traffic systems. The USB3 camera features the PYTHON 25K CMOS image sensor from ON Semiconductor, which is a 25 MPixel CMOS image sensor that has a 4.5 µm pixel size and can reach frame rates of 26 fps in 10-bit and 32 fps in 8-bit. Additionally, the camera features a dynamic range of >59 dB and a proprietary image processing algorithm that suppresses fixed pattern noise while retaining dynamic range.
