3D camera from IDS features working distances of up to 5 meters

Featuring a 100 W projector unit with an integrated GigE switch, the Ensenso X 3D camera from IDS Imaging Development Systems can be deployed in applications including bin picking and warehouse and logistics automation.

Featuring a 100 W projector unit with an integrated GigE switch, the Ensenso X 3D camera from IDS Imaging Development Systems can be deployed in applications including bin picking and warehouse and logistics automation. Ensenso X 3D cameras are initially available in the X30 and X36 models, each of which feature two GigE uEye CP industrial cameras with 1.3 MPixel monochrome CMOS image sensors mounted on special brackets, which are available in different lengths. The X36 model features a FlexView 2 projector that can be moved by several “levels” to a preset level using a piezo-mechanical process. Additionally, the cameras feature a working distance of up to 5 meters, as well as the Ensenso SDK, which enables set up, operation, focusing, and calibration.
