MVTec will showcase its HALCON Embedded machine vision software, which can be ported to various microprocessors/DSPs, operating systems, and compilers, at the 2017 Embedded Vision Summit.

MVTec will showcase its HALCON Embedded machine vision software, which can be ported to various microprocessors/DSPs, operating systems, and compilers, at the 2017 Embedded Vision Summit. HALCON Embedded software enables software engineers to develop the machine vision part of applications on a standard platform and ease the programming of an embedded system. The software is available on various smart cameras, including models from Imago Technologies, Matrix Vision, SensoPart, Tattile, Vision Components, and ZhijinTech, as well as other embedded platforms, such as Android, BeagleBoard (xM and ARM 64-bit), DragonBoard (ARM 64-bit), picoZed SVDK, and Xilinx Zynq-7000. Additionally, MVTec has experience with various operating systems, including Windows IoT, Embedded Linux, Android, iOs, processors architectures like ARM, Atom, PowerPC, and MIPS.
