At the Raptor Photonics booth at LASER World of Photonics from June 26-29 in Munich, Germany, the company will showcase its OWL 1280 visible-SWIR camera, which features a response of 0.4 to 1.7 µm. Designed for long range surveillance, scientific imaging, and astronomy applications, the camera features a cooled 1280 x 1024 InGaAs sensor from SCD that has a 10 µm pixel size and can reach a frame rate of up to 60 fps. The camera also offers 2 x 2 binning to become 640 x 512, 20 µm pitch for low light vision and high speed applications. Additionally, the camera features a 14-bit Camera Link interface, on-board automated gain control, and an on-board intelligent 3-point non-uniform correction algorithm. The OWL 1280 camera comes with a range of analysis software including XCAP and Micromanager, and a standard Camera Link frame grabber from EPIX.
