OCR software tool from Matrox Imaging release offers twice the speed of previous version

SureDotOCR, a software tool designed for reading dot-matrix text, is now twice as fast as the previous iteration.

SureDotOCR, a software tool designed for reading dot-matrix text, is now twice as fast as the previous iteration. SureDotOCR is provided with a set of pre-defined fonts, but also accepts custom fonts, and is also capable of reading multiple lines of text, and can even read each line of text in different fonts. Available to Matrox Imaging Library 10 users, SureDotOCR can now read at a speed of more than 2000 ppm when using an Intel Core i5-6500TE platform. Additionally, with this release, the software tool is also able to specify the expected italicization and strings angles of dot-matrix text.
