Featuring a resolution that is four times greater than the camera it replaces, the MCL640 thermal imaging camera from LumaSense Technologies was designed specifically for industrial process controland monitoring. The MCL640 is a 5 in. x 4 in. x 4 in. camera in heavy-duty housing that features a 640 x 480 uncooled microbolometer array with a 17 µm pixel size that achieves a frame rate of up to 50 fps. The thermal imaging camera is also available with expanded lens options—now offering five lenses including wide-angle and telephoto options. Additionally, the camera features 75 mm autofocus, 1-8X digital zoom, GigE interface, pan-tilt positioner, I/O modules, and process control and automation software.
