As part of our upcoming Next Generation Vision Systems special focus on cutting edge vision technologies, we will be holding a Q&A format on each of our four topics: 3D imaging, non-visible imaging, embedded and mobile vision systems, and deep learning and machine vision software.

Part one of the Next Generation Vision Systems Q&A series will be on 3D imaging. 3D imaging technologies can be used in various applications in machine vision and imaging, including quality and process control in manufacturing and assembly operations, bin picking, logistics, retail distribution, and research and development.

Various methods for accomplishing 3D imaging exist, including single and multi-camera methods, structured light systems, laser triangulation, pattern projection, and those based on the Time of Flight principle.

In this Q&A webcast, Jared Glover, Co-Founder of CapSen Robotics will answer your questions regarding 3D imaging, including the techniques and applications listed above in a live question-and-answer style webcast.
