Those wishing to submit a poster or hardware or software demonstration to the European Machine Vision Forum, which takes place September 6-8 at the AIT Austrian Institute of Technology, have until August 11 to do so.
This year’s forum will focus on the next generation of vision systems for industry, including novel modes of image acquisition, new hardware platforms, and advanced algorithms in order to solve more complex tasks with less effort.
Hosted by the AIT Austrian Institute for Technology and the Heidelberg Collaboratory for Image Processing, the event aims to foster interaction between the machine vision industry and academic research to learn from each other, discuss the newest research results relevant for industry as well as problems from applications, learn about emerging application fields, and to discuss research cooperation between industry and academic institutes. The event targets scientists, development engineers, software and hardware engineers, and programmers both from research and industry.
A table with power supply is provided for free for any submitted demonstration, and each poster and demo can be included in a teaser section that will be published in the online program by August 22.
Registration information can be found here.
