Next generation of uEye SE industrial cameras from IDS available in GigE and USB 3.1

IDS Imaging Development Systems has launched a new generation of its uEye SE industrial camera family, which will be available in GigE and USB 3.1 Type-C connection, both of which will be offered in housed and board-level versions.

IDS Imaging Development Systemshas launched a new generation of its uEye SE industrial camera family, which will be available in GigE and USB 3.1 Type-C connection, both of which will be offered in housed and board-level versions. In October, IDS will launch the first 25 models, all of which will be equipped with CMOS image sensors from Sony, ON Semiconductor, and Teledyne e2v. These sensors will include the Pregius IMX253, IMX304, IMX255, and IMX267 sensors with 8.9 and 12.3 MPixel resolution.

Additionally, the cameras feature a C-Mount lens connection, screw-on 8-pin Hirose connector for trigger and flash – both opto-isolated – and two GPIOs, as well as an integrated 128 MB memory. IDS’ Software Suite (or GigE Vision firmware for GigE models), is available with all of the uEye SE cameras.
