At SPIE Photonics West 2018, Basler will showcase its latest ace industrial cameras, which feature CMOS image sensors from Sony. Among the cameras highlighted will be ace U models featuring the IMX178 and IMX226 STARVIS sensors, which feature a low dark noise of 3 electrons and quantum efficiency of over 80%. Basler ace L cameras equipped with the IMX253, IMX255, IMX267, and IMX304 Pregius sensors will also be on display. The 12 models being shown provide 9 and 12 MPixel resolutions, up to 42 fps frame rate, and more than 70 dB dynamic range.
Additionally, Basler will provide a live demonstration on the technology behind the newest Sony STARVIS and Pregius sensors on the first day of the exhibition, as well as an embedded vision live demonstration along with industry partner Critical Link. The latter demo will feature Basler’s board level camera module dart BCON for LVDS, the embedded vision development kits, and the pylon Camera Software Suite. Basler machine vision lenses will also be on display the show.
