Specim Updates Hyperspectral Analysis Software

SPECIM has launched the latest version of its INSIGHT hyperspectral analysis software. INSIGHT 1.4 features several new advanced tools for hyperspectral imaging. These include ready to use spectral indices, which are pre-built indices for applications such as mining and agriculture; enhanced pre-processing tools designed to simplify data by highlighting trends, reducing noise and improving workflows; and spectral libraries, which utilize ready-made reference spectra for easier material identification and data comparison. Other new tools include improved user interface and interactive visualization.

Specim INSIGHT 1.4 is part of the SpecimONE spectral imaging platform, which integrates Specim hyperspectral cameras with the SpecimCUBE processing unit. It is especially designed to enable machine vision integrators to more easily develop hyperspectral solutions for such applications as sorting and inspections.
