SVSi and BFi OPTiLAS enter into a European distribution agreement

MARCH 28--Southern Vision Systems (SVSi; Madison, AL, USA; www.southernvisionsystems.com), a manufacturer of high-speed digital cameras for slow-motion digital video analysis, and BFi OPTiLAS International (Evry, France; www.bfioptilas.com) have entered into a European agreement in which BFi OPTiLAS will market the Southern Vision Systems range of high-speed systems in Europe.

MARCH 28--Southern Vision Systems (SVSi; Madison, AL, USA; www.southernvisionsystems.com), a manufacturer of high-speed digital cameras for slow-motion digital video analysis, and BFi OPTiLAS International (Evry, France; www.bfioptilas.com) have entered into a European agreement in which BFi OPTiLAS will market the SVSi high-speed systems in Europe. The distribution agreement covers Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, The Netherlands, Luxemburg, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, and Norway.

Products include
* GigaView: high-speed megapixel camera with TCP/IP Gigabit Ethernet interface.
* MemView: low-cost high-speed megapixel camera with USB-2 interface.
* SpecterView: high-speed megapixel camera with image processor on-board for real-time calculations up to 500 kHz.
* StreamView: continuous-stream 640 x 480 images at 250 frames/s to disk array for hours or stream to host RAM for several seconds.
* TriggerView: image-based high-speed triggering device.

SVSi's high-speed cameras are for applications including spectroscopy, laser development, x-ray inspection, industrial inspection, machine vision, weapons testing, crash testing, sports analysis, ballistics, bioanalysis, manufacturing, and packaging.
