ADLINK Technology’s EOS-1220 GigE-vision compliant embedded vision system features 3rd generation Intel Core i7 quad processors, four independent Power over Ethernet ports and support for smart PoE APIs, which allows remote switching of PoE status. Also featured on the EOS-1220 are four RS-232/422/485 ports, two USB 3.0 ports, 32 PNP/NON isolation digital I/Os, dual storage (two SATA interface and one CFAST slot), and internal USB port and 1 kbit programmable EEPROM. ADLINK suggests that the EOS-1220 is best suited for multi-camera imaging applications such as 3D robot guidance.
