Chromasens releases enhanced functionalities and API for allPIXA CCD line scan cameras

July 31, 2013
With Chromasens' Firmware 1.3 release, its allPIXA CCD color line scan cameras are now enabled with new functions such as a color conversion matrix and a feature for internal keystone distortion compensation. In addition, Chromasens released an API that provides a full application programming interface.

With the release of Firmware 1.3, Chromasens is equipping its allPIXA CCD color line scan camera with new functions, including a color conversion matrix and a feature for internal keystone distortion compensation. Firmware 1.3 also enables users to create shading and offset correction internally in the camera while also reducing the data rate of the Camera Link interface. In addition, Chromasens made available an application programming interface (API) for its allPIXA camera family in which users can directly control the camera from their own applications. The API consists of the full application programming interface, a set of C++ examples with complete source code, as well as a comprehensive handbook. Firmware 1.3 and the API package are available for download on the partner area of the website.
