NI releases updates to Vision Development Module

National Instruments has launched an updated version of its Vision Development Module software which includes performance enhancing features.

National Instruments has launched an updated version of its Vision Development Module software which includes performance enhancing features. This includes a new algorithm for object tracking for use in applications such as intelligent surveillance, medical imaging, and robotic navigation, as well as a new pattern match algorithm that improves performance in images with blur or low contrast, and enhancements to existing algorithms such as OCR, to include multi-line support, weak rotation tolerance, and advanced segmentation.
