Princeton Instruments to showcase emICCD cameras at Photonics West 2014

Jan. 3, 2014
Princeton Instruments’ emICCD cameras combine the advantages of intensifiers and the benefits of EMCCDs for scientific imaging and spectroscopy applications.

Princeton Instruments’ emICCD cameras combine the advantages of intensifiers (i.e., ultrashort, sub-nanosecond exposure times) and the benefits of EMCCDs (i.e., linear gain and high quantum efficiency) to provide single-photon sensitivity and quantitative performance for scientific imaging and spectroscopy applications. emICCD technology is available exclusively for Princeton Instruments’ PI-MAX 4 camera platform. Princeton Instruments’ will showcase these emICCD cameras at SPIE Photonics West 2014 in San Francisco from February 1-6.
