STEMMER IMAGING will showcase the Common Vision Blox software platform, Mitsubishi Electric CIS KID image sensors, and the CVS Trevista vision system (pictured) at VisionChina 2014 from March 18-20. Common Vision Blox is a software platform for vision application development which supports all acquisition technologies and features a number of optimized imaging algorithms.
Mitsubishi Electric CIS KD contact image sensors feature a CMOS color sensor and integrated white LED illumination, which enables web-like materials to be scanned in color at a resolution of 600 dpi. Its line rate of 23kHz enables scan rates of 960mm/s and 44μs/line in three scan formats: 309 mm, 617 mm, and 926 mm. In addition, the sensors feature 8 or 10-bit output through up to three CameraLink Medium ports and is suitable for use in the inspection of flat or nearly-flat surfaces and objects.
STEMMER will also showcase the CVS Trevista vision system with dome-shaped illumination and an industrial-grade PC designed to inspect objects with surfaces that are hard to inspect. This structured lighting inspection system features 8 or 12 LEDs, depending on the model, as well as a measuring field of 20mm, 50 mm, or 200 mm, depending on the model.
