Datalogic introduces S100 universal miniature photoelectric sensor series

Datalogic has announced the release of the series of S100 miniature photoelectric sensors, which are available in eight models of varying operating distances and feature infrared LED lighting (860 nm), or red LED lighting (632 nm), depending on the model.

Datalogic has announced the release of the series of S100 miniature photoelectric sensors, which are available in eight models of varying operating distances and feature infrared LED lighting (860 nm), or red LED lighting (632 nm), depending on the model. The S100 sensors are available in: Through-beam at 12 m, retroreflective at 8 m and polarized retroreflective at 5 m and 2 m, diffuse proximity at 30 cm and 50 cm, fixed focus at 70 mm, background suppression at 100 mm. All models are offered with an M8 connector or 2m cable, with either NPN or PNP outputs. In addition, the 20 x 32 x 12 mm sensors feature four mounting holes, IP67 protective housing, and switching frequencies of 250 Hz (through beam model), and 500 Hz (all other models.) S100 sensors are suitable for use in packaging, conveyor and sorting lines, and warehousing and logistics applications.
