HORIBA Scientific launches three new scientific imaging cameras

HORIBA Scientific has announced the release of three new scientific imaging cameras in the EFis, AToR, and iRiS models, which are designed for low-light imaging applications.

HORIBA Scientific has announced the release of three new scientific imaging cameras in the EFis, AToR, and iRiS models, which are designed for low-light imaging applications. The EFiS camera features a 1004 x 1002 Texas Instruments TC285SPD EMCCD image sensor with 8 µm x 8 µm pixel size, 16-bit Camera Link output, and 15 fps frame rate. The AToR camera features a 658 x 496 Texas Instruments TC247SPD EMCCD image sensor with 10 µm x 10 µm pixel size, 16-bit Camera Link output, and 25 fps frame rate. Lastly, the iRiS camera features a 2048 x 2048 sCMOS image sensor with 5.5 µm x 5.5 µm pixel size, 12-bit Camera Link output, and 18 fps frame rate. These cameras are suitable for use in fluorescence imaging, astronomy, X-ray tomography, and single molecule detection.
