KAYA Instruments releases Predator CoaXPress frame grabber

Predator is a CoaXPress frame grabber that is capable of receiving video streams of up to 4 CoaXPress links in single, dual, and quad modes, for , for simultaneous capture from up to two dual link or four single link cameras or single quad link camera.

Predator is a CoaXPress frame grabber that is capable of receiving video streams of up to 4 CoaXPress links in single, dual, and quad modes for simultaneous capture from up to two dual link or four single link cameras or single quad link camera. Each link in the frame grabber supports standard CoaXPress bit rates up to 6.25 Gbps and can transmit the video streams to computer memory through PCIe Gen2 x4 links. In addition, the frame grabber provides GPIO for machine control signals, such as triggers, shaft encoders, exposure control, and general I/O. It uses standard DIN connectors are a CoaXPress interface to the camera and standard 100 mil headers for general purpose I/O. The Predator frame grabber is suitable for use in machine vision and defense and aerospace systems, among other applications.
