Angewandte Physik & Elektronik has launched a new version of its waveScan USB spectrometer, the waveScan USB MIR, which offers wavelength measurements in the range of 1.5 to 6.3 µm. The waveScan USB MIR features a scan rate of 6 Hz, sensitivity of 100 µW/nm, and a resolution of 3 nm. In addition, the compact waveScan USB MIR comes with Windows-based control software which displays and stores measured spectra on a standard PC, providing access to all measuring and calibration features.
