EPIX releases PCI Express x4 Gen 2.0 frame grabber

The new PIXCI E4G2 is a four-camera frame grabber with a PCI express x 4 bus that captures from two 80-bit cameras or four base Camera Link cameras.  

The new PIXCI E4G2 is a four-camera frame grabber with a PCI express x 4 bus that captures from two 80-bit cameras or four base Camera Link cameras. The frame grabber’s direct memory access transfer to the motherboard at 20 Gbps and is compatible with more than 1000 camera models. Additional features or capabilities of the frame grabber include line scan or area scan mode, capturing of individual lines or frames, 64-bit memory addressing, and triggered image sequence capture. The PIXCI E4G2—which comes with the XCAP-Lite image processing software—is suitable for use in industrial imaging applications.
