Lumenera's InfinityHD camera is a 2 MPixel digital microscopy camera that is built to provide 1080p 60 streaming video output over an HDMI connector direct to a monitor without the need for a computer.

The USB 2.0 camera features a 1/3" progressive scan CMOS image sensor with a 2.7 µm x 2.7 µm pixel pitch and achieves a frame rate of 60 fps at 1920 x 1080. It also features a dynamic range of 65 dB, 8-bit depth output, and will fit any microscope or projector with a C-mount lens mount. Three buttons on the side of the camera offer easy access to power, white balance, and image capture.

Algorithms developed by Lumenera for color reproduction results in a sample preview on a monitor that closely match the view on the microscopy eyepiece. The camera also comes with software for image capture and recording video.

InfinityHD cameras are suitable for use in for life science, industrial, clinical and material science applications, as well as defect analysis, semiconductor inspection, and metrology applications.
