LMI Technologies announces new 3D scanner for integrated or embedded applications

LMI Technologies has released its latest addition to the HDI 100 series of compact, pre-calibrated 3D scanners, the HDI 109.    

LMI Technologies has released its latest addition to the HDI 100 series of compact, pre-calibrated 3D scanners, the HDI 109. The HDI 109 scanner features a 1.3 MPixel camera, blue LED technology, 0.3 seconds/scan speed, and a 70 mm depth of field. The scanner also features 985,000 average points/scan, 1.97 million average polygons/scan, and a GigE interface. The HDI 109 scanner also comes with FlexScan 3D software, which powers the HDI scanners and enables the building of 3D models. In addition, the new scanner features an IP67 dust and water-proof enclosure, and is suitable for use in 3D measurement, small parts inspection, medical, dental, or manufacturing applications.
