VREO Innovation has released a USB 3.0 interface for the Sony FCB-MA130 miniature camera module. The interface, the VREO Unity Board, is equipped with OneView software, which was developed to support all of the features of the FCB-MA130, including autofocus, automatic exposure time control, face detection, white balance, and color correction. The interface also supports the streaming of Full HD video with 30 fps and single frame shots of up to 13 MPixels. VREO’s Unity Board is available through FRAMOS. The VREO Unity Board offers users an easy way to connect and use the Sony camera modules in image processing applications, according to Stephane Clauss from Sony ISS.
