MATRIX VISION to showcase multiple cameras with Sony IMX174 sensor at VISION 2014

Three of MATRIX VISION’s camera families—the mvBlueCOUGAR-XD dual GigE, the mvBlueCOUGAR-X GigE, and mvBlueFOX3 USB 3.0—all feature Sony’s IMX 174 image sensor and will be on display at VISION 2014.  

Three of MATRIX VISION’s camera families—the mvBlueCOUGAR-XD dual GigE, the mvBlueCOUGAR-X GigE, and mvBlueFOX3 USB 3.0—all feature Sony’s IMX 174 image sensor and will be on display at VISION 2014. The IMX174 is a 1936 x 1214 pixel, 1/1.2” CMOS sensor that reaches a frame rate of 128 fps on the mvBlueCOUGAR-XD, 52 fps on the mvBlueCOUGAR-X, and 162 fps with the mvBlueFOX3. The mvBlueFOX3 model with the IMX174 sensor will be introduced for the first time at the VISION show.

Current mvBlueCOUGAR-X camera models are available with CCD or CMOS image sensors ranging from VGA up to 10 MPixel while mvBlueCOUGAR-XD camera models are available with CCD or CMOS image sensors ranging from 2.2 MPixel to 12 MPixel. For the mvBlueFOX3 cameras, current models are available with CMOS image sensors ranging from VGA up to 10 MPixel.
