Point Grey releases new VGA Power over Ethernet camera

Adding to its line of Blackfly GigE Power over Ethernet cameras, Point Grey has announced the launch of the new Blackfly BFLY-PGE-03S3 (color and monochrome models).    

Adding to its line of Blackfly GigE Power over Ethernet cameras, Point Grey has announced the launch of the new Blackfly BFLY-PGE-03S3 (color and monochrome models). The BFLY-PGE-03S3 cameras feature a 1/2" 0.3 MPixel Sony ICX414 CCD image sensor with a 9.9 µm x 9.9 µm pixel size. The global shutter cameras achieve a frame rate of 90 fps at 648 x 488 and support cable lengths of up to 100 m using GigE, while offering compatibility with third-party imaging libraries via the GigE Vision standard. In addition, the new Blackfly cameras’ features include temperature and status monitoring, in-field updatable firmware, color interpolation, look up table, gamma correction, and pixel binning functionality.
