Icron Technologies announces USB 3.0 interoperability with products from three companies

Icron Technologies Corporation has confirmed joint product interoperability with products from Basler, Cypress Semiconductor Corp., and JAI.

 

Icron Technologies Corporation has confirmed joint product interoperability with products from Basler, Cypress Semiconductor Corp., and JAI.

The USB 3.0 Spectra 3001-15 from Icron is now compatible with the following products:

In addition, the JAI Go USB 3.0 cameras are also compatible with Icron’s 100-meter Spectra 3022 fiber based extender system.

Icron’s Spectra 3022 is an extender system that features two locking USB 3.0 ports and provides an extension solution that enables connections at up to 5 Gbps over 100m/330ft of multimode fiber optic cable. The Spectra 3001-15 is a 15-meter bus-powered copper cable that extends USB 3.0 at 5Gbps and features locking connectors per the AIA’s USB3 Vision specifications. The cables provide full 5V, 900mA of current and include the ExtremeUSB suite of features, which includes transparent USB extension, true plug and play (no software drivers) and compatibility with all major operating systems, including Windows 8.
