Visions Connection releases 1.3 MPixel GigE X-ray camera

The 1.3 Mpixel X-ray GigE camera from Visions Connection is a CCD camera with a fused fiber optic taper that is attached directly to the image sensor with proprietary technology.  

The 1.3 Mpixel X-ray GigE camera from Visions Connection is a CCD camera with a fused fiber optic taper that is attached directly to the image sensor with proprietary technology. The camera features a 1.3 MPixel Sony ICX285 CCD sensor with a 6.45 µm x 6.45 µm pixel size that achieves a maximum frame rate of 30 fps. Featuring X-ray energy sensitivity from 5 – 120 keV, the camera is designed for OEMs who are looking to use a standard camera with X-ray sources. The camera is available with the following options:

  • Standard: Standard unit camera with GdOS coating applied directly to the surface of the fiber optic coating.
  • Option 1: Without GdOS coating, for non-x-ray applications
  • Option 2: Custom protective input window material
  • Option 3: Csl scintillator

In addition, the camera includes an API, SDK, and DirectShow driver and software, as well as support for GenICam, Matrox Imaging Library, and LabVIEW.
