KAYA Instruments introduces Komodo CoaXPress frame grabber

KAYA Instruments has announced the release of the Komodo CoaXPress frame grabber, which features support for up to 8 CoaXPress links and a PCIe Gen3 x8 lanes interface.  

KAYA Instruments has announced the release of the Komodo CoaXPress frame grabber, which features support for up to 8 CoaXPress links and a PCIe Gen3 x8 lanes interface. The Komodo frame grabber, which supports the CoaXPress standard, is capable of receiving video streams from up to 8 CoaXPress links in single, dual, quad or octal modes and simultaneously capturing from up to two quad link cameras. Each link supports standard CoaXPress bit rates up to 6.25 Gbps. In addition, the frame grabber is equipped with 128 Gb image buffer using high-speed DDR3 memory and provides GPIO for machine control signals. The Komodo frame grabber is suitable for use in such machine vision applications as factory automation and defense and aerospace.
