JAI has added USB 3.0 and CoaXPress interface models to its 20 MPixel Spark SP-20000 series of cameras. The SP-20000M-CXP2 (monochrome) and SP-20000C-CXP2 (color) CoaXPress cameras feature 8/10-bit CoaXPress output and accept power over CoaXPress or via 12-pin connector. The SP-20000M-USB (mono) and SP-20000C-USB (color) cameras feature 8/10-bit USB3 Vision output and accept power via 12-pin connector. All of the new models feature a 20 MPixel CMV20000 CMOS imager from CMOSIS that has a 6.4 µm pixel size, with the CoaXPress models reaching 30 fps at full resolution and the USB3 models reaching 16 fps at full resolution. In addition, the cameras feature in-camera CMOS pattern correction, flat field and pixel blemish correction, and automatic level control for dynamic lighting conditions.
