Lambda Research Corporation has announced the release of version 7.6 of its flagship TracePro software, which enables illumination and optical modeling, design, and analysis. New features in TracePro v7.6 include:
- The ability to create repetitive features on curved surfaces. This new feature enables the modeling of curved displays, especially ones using scattering features.
- New diffuser catalogs. The BrightView and Bayer Makrolon diffuser sheet catalogs are now available as surface property catalogs in the v7.6 optical properties database.
- New macro editor. A new scheme macro editor has been added, Notepad++, to provide users with an editing component.
- Simplified menu structure, which broadens the program’s capabilities by moving utilities into the correct menu placements.
